Raise a Glass, Raise a Reader Book Event

Raise a Glass, Raise a Reader is a community book fair hosted at Rockwell Beer Co. on October 10th, tentatively from 12–4 PM, bringing together local authors, vendors, readers, and families in support of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Location: 1320 S Vandeventer Ave, Saint Louis, MO

Time: TBA (possibly 12pm-4pm)

Rockwell will be creating a special themed drink menu for the event, with donations from those featured drinks benefiting the Imagination Library. Guests who purchase a themed drink will also receive a ticket for our event raffle, and participating authors and vendors will have the option to contribute an item or prize if they’d like to support the fundraiser further.

This event is open to authors and vendors across all genres, and we especially hope to welcome a few children’s and kid-lit authors to help us celebrate the heart of the Imagination Library’s mission. We want this fair to reflect the diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community of readers and storytellers we’re proud to be part of while carrying forward Dolly’s belief in imagination, literacy, opportunity, and access to books for every child.

**A vendor/table fee may apply, though the final amount has not yet been determined. Tables and chairs will also be available to rent for $10 per table and $5 per chair. Final pricing, setup information, and additional event details will be shared once confirmed.
